In America, the school year is from early September to the following June. Students go to school every day from Monday to Friday. Many students go to school in school bus that picks them up near homes and takes them back again in the evening. At the age of 16, students often go to school in their own car, or borrow their parents' cars.
After schook, students can choose from many activities. They may join chess, computers, acting or cooking club. And they may work on the school newpaper or play in a sport team.
